The Passaic County Dental Society
The object of this Society is to encourage the improvement of the health of the public, to cultivate and advance the science and art of dentistry, to promote the professional welfare of its members.
PCDS END OF THE YEAR DINNER AND INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS
On Monday, May 7th, over 50 PCDS members gathered at Francesco's in Woodland Park for the annual gala dinner and installation of officers.
This year PCDS celebrated its 80th Anniversary and this year's dinner included a special presentation made to PCDS Past Presidents. Nineteen past presidents were in attendance and each one received a special gift in honor of this special anniversary.
A special presentation was made to PCDS by NJDA President Dr. Barbara Rich in honor of our 80th Anniversary.
The 2012-2013 PCDS Officers and Board of Trustees were installed. Please see the May issue of the PCDS newsletter for pictures.

2012 Garden State Dental Conference & Expo
The 2011 Garden State Dental Conference & Expo will be a tough act to follow. After all it drew more dentists than any time in the last 10 years. The NJDA has every intention of topping last year's performance. The NJDA staff, directed by the Council on Annual Session, is hard at work building a conference that will bridge the traditional street fair-style event you have come to know and love and the world of mobile and wireless technology and social media. The 2012 Garden State Dental Conference & Expo, June 22-23, is under construction- a bridge under construction. More details are forthcoming, but we can assure you the conference will debut some things you've never seen before at an NJDA event.
We are once again at OCEAN PLACE RESORT, in Long Branch. Led by new management, the property is undergoing some improvements of its own to better position it for the planned growth of the area. The spectaular resort, along with planned activities for children and CE and social events for dentists, auxiliaries and office staff alike, are bound to make the 2012 conference one for the ages. The only thing that can make it even better is your presence.
Dental-related companies are booking their exhibit floor space every day. Dentists are telling us how excited they are that we are back at Ocean Place Resort. We hope to see you, your family and your staff at the conference in 2012.
